History
Metabuilt Sdn. Bhd is Malaysia's pioneer hospital furniture manufacturer. Metalbuilt was incorporated in 1997, and has since provided the nation with much needed quality and affordable products. Over twenty years to this day, Metal built initiated the industry standard, and paved the way for product innovations.
Transformation
With the restructuring of the Company into UMMI Manufacturing Sdn. Bhd in 2003, virtually every aspect of the company was upgraded to face a New Era of challenges. In June 2005, a strategic merger with United Malaysia Medical Industries Sdn. Bhd. Has elevated the group as the Number One player in its field with its vast and comprehensive range of product offerings. Our portfolio includes some of the worls's leading global brands.
Manufacturing Facility
All critical manufacturing processes within UMMI Manufacturing are computer aided. Auto CAD designs, advanced robotic welding arms, CNC turret punching, bending and cutting machines, full conveyor metal treatment and paint-line system to ensure the utmost attention to detail, as well as guaranteeing the highest quality of products.
Information System
The services of UMMI Manufacturing are further enhanced, and critical business processes modernised, with the introduction of a leading ERP computer software system.
