Topharman is a science & technology oriented enterprise based on the joint of academic research and industrial development.

    Topharman?s new head office, R & D base, and a pilot plant, are located in Caolu town, Pudong area in Shanghai. To the south west, there is the Shanghai Institute of Materia Medica, Chinese Academy of Sciences, from where, Topharman Shanghai Co., Ltd. was physically separated in September 2004, and in the Institute now, Topharman is still one of the research groups, the only developing oriented group of issuing a degree of Master in SIMM.

    Another pilot plant, the original Topharman owned manufacturing facilities in Shandong still do the kg scale synthesis, mt scale manufacturing, and process developing or optimization. This pilot plant is being designed and equipped of expanding into a bigger cGMP complied manufacturing site.
