TGE was formed in January 2006 by experienced managers and engineers from semiconductor manufacturing field. Capital acquired was NTD 720, 000, 000 (~USD 22, 200, 000) in June 2006. Major investors are PCM, CDIB, and managers of TGE & PCM. The core business of TGE goes to design, production, and sales of high-quality solar cells. Employee number was over 110 in end of 2006.
The first full-automation production line will start to pilot run in December 2006 and have mass production in January 2007. The projected annual output will be 30MW at the beginning. And the second production line will be set up in 2007 and expand the overall annual capacity to reach 90MW.
