Takeshi Takeda, the President&C. E. O. Of the Company got an exclusive right to use the world patents on the idea of picking up the human voices in the ear using the principle of bone conduction technology.

He established the Company in March 1985 to develop and manufacture the products by using this world-patented invention. Although the microphones picking up the vibrations of human voice had been already known for their advantages in anti- noise feature, i. E. They were less sensitive to ambient noise but able to transfer human voice effectively, they lacked the quality of the sound and user comfort in actual use.

After having had intensive research and development, we first succeeded the bone conduction microphone to solve those problems by picking up the human voice signals at the inner ear that was a suitable point to pick up bone vibrations.

Furthermore, owing to the way of positioning a vibration pick-up microphone in the ear, it could make possible to place a speaker and a microphone in one unit. This created epoch-making communication device that allowed the user to send and receive messages with the use of only one ear.

We named this product as VOICEDUCER Ear Microphone and started shipping samples at the beginning of 1987. Since then, we had developed the interface amplifier that was specifically suited for the feature of bone conduction sounds and it enabled to improve the audio quality at a great rate. We also developed a VOX(voice-activated)circuitry for the best fit to bone conduction microphone and provided another advantage of hands-free operation. We started to ship this VOICEDUCER Ear Microphone system for facilitating easy application to the variety of radios in the market since March 1988.
