SPEL (ISO 9001 & 14001 Certified) has been manufacturing Steering Wheels, Steering Column and their accessories for about 30 years. The customers include the assemblers of Messy Ferguson Tractors, Fiat Tractors and Twinka A/s in Denmark and many more. SPEL Components are used in Tractors, Forklift trucks, Lawn mowers, Golf carts, Mini cars, Road Trucks, Pickups, Jeeps, Vans, Special purpose vehicles, Agricultural, Construction and other vehicles. The SPEL activity includes not only manufacturing of these components but also develop their designs as per customer requirements. The company is constantly investing in and developing new components and adding new lines of business to stay as a major player in the industry. All products are tested according to SIS (SPEL Inspection Standards) which are equivalent to JIS (Japanese Inspection Standards). The company is currently in the process of implementing the Toyota production System which ranks, indeed, as one of the best production systems in the world. This is, in the order to, further ensure continuous quality improvement and in time delivery. The additional focus currently, is on expanding the business to the international OEM’S & Distributors. For that purpose the company is looking for new representatives in, particularly, EUROPE and North America. SPEL is constantly making an effort to provide customers with quality products through continuous improvement in design, and manufacturing processes, and also maintaining close communication with the customers for their satisfaction.
