Spiraltech Ltd is a newly machine builder in Northern England, primarily concerned with spiral paper tube winders and machines for handling, cutting and re-cutting cardboard tubes. The company draws on a wealth of knowledge and over 40 years of experience in the converting industry. Our spiral winding machines are sturdy, robust, safe to work with, fast and powerful enough to pull paper at the required tension levels. Our machines are built with only the best quality components and materials to guarantee compliance, repeatability and reliability. All machines are designed and assembled in house, undergoing vigorous quality and safety checks above and beyond today’s industry requirements. In-Line knife units are all servo driven with ability to cut shorter and faster with minimal waste. Our designs use new ideas as well as proven techniques allowing us to offer machine with higher productivity without compromise to product quality or increased manufacturing costs. As a company we are focused on implementing new automatic processes and set up procedures making machines simple and easy to operate. User friendly controls and HMI’s make better using graphics and include features such as online help and quick user guides. The Spiraltech core cutters offer superb control over the cutting section of the core, allowing for higher number of cuts per minute to be made with extreme accuracy over the length of the core and across the circumference. Spiraltech are also able to offer a design service for bespoke, customer specific requirements to help customers find answers to their problems – to create the “perfect solution”.
