Special Truck Company, CNHTC (Original named as Qingdao Special Automobile Manufacturing Works, hereafter referred as STC) is one of the wholly owned subsidiaries of China National Heavy Duty Truck Corp., Ltd and the biggest special truck R&D, manufacturing and exporting base in China. STC was consecutively rewarded as CIVILIZED COMPANY by Shangdong province in 16 years and FAITHFULLY IMPLEMENT CONTRACT COMPANY by commercial administration of Qingdao in 19 years. STC won SHANDONG QUALITY MANAGEMENT AWARD, Qingzhuan brand heavy duty dumper won SHANDONG FAMOUSE BRAND reputation and Qingzhuan brand was confirmed as Qingdao famous brand by commercial administration of Qingdao.
After more than half century development, STC accumulated abundant technology and advantages of special truck market. Occupying advanced processing equipments and technology, STC has been won a position which can not be replaced by others in China special truck industry. STC established powerful special truck and military equipment researching ability by cooperating with various technical centers and universities as well as foreign companies through technical transfer, joint venture and technology-trade cooperation. As one of high technical companies of Qingdao city, STC has a Qingdao city level technical center and drafted China dumper standard. Its products covering heavy duty dumpers, construction vehicles, refuse compactors, semitrailer trucks, special purpose military vehicles, special truck chassis and vehicle parts etc. STC has developed over 200 models various special trucks using both foreign and domestic chassis. STC has a capacity of manufacturing 10000 units special trucks per year and 60 percent of which were exported. STC also was appointed as a manufacturer for China military producing aircraft tractor and missile mounting vehicle.
