4. The hardware of CPM SLPN2 is divided into two separated parts: front terminal and main unit, which connected by one network cable. Front terminal is in charge of image capturing and user interaction, which was always mounted on the wall outside a room. Main unit is in charge of recognition, data processing and access controlling, which is always installed inside a room. This separated design enables users to put the core section of access controlling in a safe environment. No illegal access or data theft will happen even if the front terminal has been broken or taken away.
