Founded in December 2000, Shandong Borun Industrial Co.,Ltd. (Borun) is located in Bohai Industrial Park, Shouguang City, Shandong Province, China. Borun is subordinate to China New Borun Corporation which was listed on the NASDAQ (Stock code: BORN) in 2010. Borun occupies land area of 400,000 square meter, registered capital is U.S.$48,660,538. Borun currently owns and operates two factories. Factory i commenced its production of corn-based edible alcohol in 2004. During the production of edible alcohol, we also produce DDGS feed, crude corn oil and liquid carbon dioxide as by-products. With the capacity of high-quality edible alcohol of 300,000 tons per year, it is the second largest supplier of edible alcohol in China.Factory ii invested to build two new 2-Acrylamido-2-Methylpropane Sulfonic Acid (AMPS) production lines in 2014, which has an annual production capacity of 18,000 tons. At present, our company is the largest manufacturer of AMPS in China.
