SHODA (Sahyadri Horticultural Output Development Association) – is an NGO established in the year 2002. This was developed by a group of enthusiastic likeminded small holding farmers in a remote village of Karnataka. We provide solutions for organic certification of farms with a vision of encouraging organic farming for the betterment of future safe food to world. Since 2002, shoda working with farmers to convert themselves to organic and sustainable farming practices and have certified more than 1450 hectares of agricultural land based on National and Internal Standards with horticultural crops, medicinal plants, spices. For the purpose of Organic Certification, we are closely associated with ADITI Organic Certifications which is Nationally recognised and Accredited by APEDA, Government of India.
WE PROVIDE

Shoda trades various organically grown crops like Ginger, Cardamom, Vanilla, Turmeric, Pepper, Nutmeg, Cinnamon, Jaggery and many more spices, herbs, essential oils. We also have expertise in exports of organic food crops. In order to change/convert the mindset of farmers into organic/sustainable farming, Shoda specializes in conducting many training programmes by expert resource persons, field trips and documentation with respect to organic cultivation practices, techniques, pest control methods, soil and water conservation, post-harvest techniques, endorsing for marketing the products and export opportunities to get better price.
