Qingdao Hengda New Material Technology Co., Ltd. was established in 2017. It is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Gaizhou Hengda Chemical Co., Ltd.Engaged in the sales of new material products such as silane coupling agents. It’s in charge of global sales. Provide R&D, consulting, and transfer services of coupling agent application technology and systematic product improvement programs. In the early 1960s, the Institute of Chemistry of the Chinese Academy of Sciences supported the research of aminosilane coupling agents for composite projects. The institute synthesized an γ-aminosilane coupling agent in 1965 and named it KH-550 (equivalent to A-1100). KH-550 was put into production in the GAIXIAN Chemical plant (the predecessor of HENGDA Chemical). Recently, Hengda invested USD 52 million to build a new production plant which is located in Bohai Industrial Park, a provincial chemical industry park in Shouguang City, Shandong Province, to expand the product chain of silane coupling agents, with 6 DCS automatic production lines with an annual output of 30,000 tons of silane coupling agent. The production lines in the new factory are equipped with a DCS automatic remote-control operating system, SIS safety instrument system, and other safety facilities, ISO9001 quality management system standards are implemented throughout the process to ensure stable quality. Environmental protection treatment facilities including waste gas collection and treatment systems and sewage treatment systems have been built. Qingdao Hengda New Material Technology Co., Ltd. was established in 2017 as a marketing and sales center for Hengda Chemical’s domestic and foreign businesses, achieving sales of USD120 million in 2022. Hengda Chemical mainly specializes in producing HENGDA-E8133（KH-550/A-1100), meanwhile producing many other mono amino and diamino silane products that are not commonly available.Products covering twelve series of silane coupling agents and crosslinking agents including Amino silane, Methacrylate silane, Epoxy silane, Vinyl silane, Mercapto silane, Alkyl silane, Ethyl Silicate, Chlorine silane, Isocyanate silane, Phenyl silane, Ureido silane and Sulfur silane.They are widely used in glass fiber, electronics, wind power, daily necessities, chemical industry, coatings, adhesives, XLPE Electrical cables and hot water pipes, oilfield drilling, textiles, and rubber.
