Puncak Bumi Utama Sdn Bhd was established in October 2001. The Company is principally involved in the design, manufacturing, trading, supply and maintenance of metal and wood based furniture. Its products range includes bedroom sets, sofas, dining sets, wardrobes, cabinets, office sets, higher institutes of education hostels and schools furniture. In addition, the Company also offers various furniture readily designs that clients can select immediately. The Company is proud to be the pioneer player in introducing furniture rental maintenance services ("FRMS") to public and private institution of higher education in Malaysia. The furniture supplied by the Company includes bed, mattress, wardrobe, study tables and chairs, dining set, book rack, soft board and shoe rack. These institutions are increasingly opting for FRMS arrangement instead of outright purchase. This method reduces upfront cash payment, fast track project implementation and increasing the furniture usage lifespan. In addition, the furniture is regularly maintained by a third party and thus allowing the institutions to deploy their resources for other productive activities. The Company is currently the market leader for FRMS serving more than 18,000 students. The Company also supplies its furniture such as beds, wardrobes, tables and chairs, canteen furniture sets, dining sets, book racks, soft boards and shoe racks, mirrors, dresser to government agencies such as Ministry of Education for school and laboratory projects, Ministry of Defence, Malaysian National Service Program, Majlis Amanah Rakyat and Jabatan Penjara Malaysia, As for the retail market, the Company has been supplying its furniture to the wholesalers throughout the country and has also expanded its market by exporting its products to importers from Australia, New Zealand, the Philippines, United Kingdom, Tanzania, Reunion, Kenya, South Africa and Dubai.
