OIL GLOBAL ENTERPRISE & COMPANIES is one of Malaysia&＃039;s largest fats and oils conglomerates. We were founded when the Lever brothers started a cash business selling soap, cooking oil and white margarine in 1990. From those humble beginnings, we have evolved into a fully fledged multi oil refinery producing premium bakery fats, frying oils and bulk industrial fats. The merger of these Eight companies effectively makes OIL GLOBAL ENTERPRISE not only Malaysia&＃039;s largest listed plantation company but also the world&＃039;s number one listed palm oil originator. OIL GLOBAL ENTERPRISE&＃039;s Plantation and Agri-business Division oversees a total plantation area of over half a million hectares in 300 oil palm estates, supported by 65 mills in Malaysia and Indonesia with Russia. Given its capacity to produce nearly 10% of the world&＃039;s current total palm oil output, OIL GLOBAL ENTERPRISE is a key player in the edible oils with other Oil market. The plantation downstream activities include edible oil refining, production of oils, fats and biodiesel. These activities are supported by a global team of more than 100, 000 people and take OIL GLOBAL ENTERPRISE&＃039;s operations into 20 countries including Singapore, China, Germany, United Kingdom, Canada and the United States. Palm Oil in Frying The South African operation is based in Boksburg, where we operate out of an ISO 9001 / 22000 accredited, state of the art refinery. Currently, we are the only fats and oils refiner in South Africa to hold this food safety accreditation, ensuring that all our processes deliver fats and oils of the highest quality. OIL GLOBAL ENTERPRISE is currently ISO 9001; ISO 22000; ISO 1400; HACCP, NOSCAR and GMP compliant.
