Mayan Pigments, Inc, founded on July 1, 2004 as a Texas C Corporation is headquartered adn incubated at the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) .
Besides the pigmentss' unique properties, they can be cost-effectively manufactured using an environmentally friendly, solid-state process that produces no known hazardous wastes.
This new range of environmentally friendly Mayacrom products is the first new pigment chemistry commercialized since 1988. The innovative pigments with new-to-the-market colors contain no heavy metals, are easy to disperse and will be manufactured in the United States. The products provide customers with desirable improved performance at an overall lower cost.
They will become the industry standard.
