Company Introduction
Winston Lubricants has been producing high performance lubricants since it was founded over 30 years ago in Oklahoma.
It all began as an entrepreneur’s dream in 1979 by Captain Ray Gross who served in the US Marine during World War II. During his service, he had the first hand experience in dealing with the maintenance of the fighting equipments such as amphibious vehicle, tanks, trucks, and learned the importance of military specification, synthetic, and top grade lubricants. After the war, he worked in a chemical research firm who did work for the Mobil Chemical Company, now Exxon Mobil, to develop synthetic lubricants.
In 1989, under the leadership of a venture capitalist and research chemist, Brad Depew, the company was acquired and moved the headquarters to Southern California
