Keywin Trading Ltd., was established in November 1979, in Hong Kong. It still serves as our Head Office. We chose Hong Kong as the center of our business operations, as at that time, this small country was emerging as the business hub for major companies worldwide. Although, this was our first business venture, we were sure that our vast experience in the field of Textiles, would lay the foundations for our very strong base of today.We started off with Trading & Indenting Cotton Yarn from Pakistan, for the Hong Kong market, due to the immense demand for this raw material, in an improving economical condition. This was the time when the major big league brands of today, were establishing themselves as suppliers of quality fabrics in the Hong Kong and Chinese markets. To date, Cotton Yarn remains our largest business segment. Within the next year of our existence we started sales of Greige Fabric & Raw Cotton as well.The year 1981, turned out to be a major step forward in our advance as we were appointed the sole agents of the Cotton Export Corporation of Pakistan for the Hong Kong and South East Asia region. This established us as reliable agents in the Cotton Trade Industry. Within no time, large international cotton traders were working with us, and our contributions to this trade grew even further.As the years passed, our vision of establishing Keywin Trading Ltd, as a multi-product player started coming into place. We had now established Pakistan&＃39;s largest sweater knitting facility, Crystal Knitters, in the city of Kotri, Hyderabad, Pakistan. This unit was initially a joint venture with a Chinese knitting company. Currently, this unit is a 100% Keywin Trading Ltd, owned entity. It mainly works on order basis, supplying high quality sweaters to our buyers in Europe.Next, we set our sights on starting a Textile Accessories unit in China. Cheung Wick Metal MFY (Huizhou) Ltd., was launched with the aim of launching ourselves as a collaborator for the Garments Business. This unit is fully equipped for churning out the best quality textile accessories, and already caters to huge and well known brands worldwideThe leather industry had been one of the most neglected and most potential business areas in Pakistan. At Keywin Trading Ltd, we try to work on items which offer the best potential, and keeping this in view we set off by investing in a joint venture, with one of Pakistan&＃39;s largest and oldest Tanneries. Through this venture we cater to Europe&＃39;s largest buyers of quality Leather goods and ShoesSince the demand for Cotton Yarn had expanded by the early and mid 90s, we had to find alternate sources of Cotton Yarn and this lead us to the decision of opening up an office in our neighboring country, India. Tamanna Fashions was launched, to cater to finer counts of Cotton Yarn, which were of better quality and lower priced, as compared to Pakistan.In today&＃39;s tough business conditions, continuous growth is possible only by diversifying the product portfolio. To achieve this, we have also projected into fields such as Raw Wool, Used Clothing, Cotton Wastes, Marbles & Ores. Our latest addition has been the opening of another business unit at our Head Office, which caters to Home Textiles, Bed sheets, Towels & Garments. We also plan to go into Retail sales of Garments very soon.Currently, apart from our Head Office, we have branches, in Karachi, Lahore, Guangzhou, Shanghai & Mumbai.
