HILLIGHT Auto Workshop Sdn. Bhd (formally known as Syarikat Hillight Auto repairer) was established in 1972. Originally located at Jelutong and the scope of business then was as a general auto repairer which comprised body works (panel beating), body refinishing (spray painting) and engine works (both mechanical & electrical service and repairs). Our new location is now at Batu Maung, near to the Penang International airport, occupying 20, 000 sq.ft in a light Industrial area lot. There is a built up area of at least 10, 000 sq, ft consisting of an office building and a covered steel structured workshop. All necessary utilities like electrical power, lighting, sanitary requirements, telecommunications facilities and other modern layouts are installed. Initially our business portfolios are on a cash basis and some on credit with private companies & corporations. Though we are registered as a PIAM authorized workshop , there was no emphasis to enlarge business in that direction.
