GWSI is ideally set up to unload the containers and load out the long-haul trucks for delivery throughout the USA & Canada. Food Grade & Non-Food Grade commodities. U.S. CUSTOMS BONDED GWSI is a U.S. Customs Bonded warehouse. We can handle Bonded storage for all commodities with the exception of refrigerated cargo. CFS CONTAINER FREIGHT STATION GWSI is a Bonded C.F.S. and can handle consolidated import containers that may have several shippers that can clear Customs in our warehouse. LOADING EXPORT CONTAINERS We encourage export shippers to bring their export cargo close to the Port of loading. GWSI is located in Chester, PA. and is ideally situated to handle anything from machinery to food grade commodities delivered by truck or rail. LONG & SHORT TERM STORAGE We understand that there is a need for long-term storage of some commodities; we have the space to accommodate both long and short term storage. RAILCAR SERVICE Our warehouse is rail served by CSX, Norfolk Southern, BNSF & Conrail. Our building can handle up to 4 railcars at a time and we have the ability to move the cars in and out of our building with our “Track Master” positioner. Some of the commodities that we handle vary from rolls of corrugated paper, pulp paper, palletized roofing materials, grains, pulses, beans etc. BULK TRANSFERS GWSI is one of the only companies in the Northeast that has the equipment and the expertise to handle the bulk transfers of 2000 lbs totes of imported wheat gluten. We handle over 100, 000 lbs per day using our bulk transfer system. TRANSLOADING CENTER GWSI handles the transloading for a variety of customers every week for freight that arrives through the Ports of Philadelphia, NY & NJ and is transferred into over the road trucks delivering throughout the USA and Canada.
