Welcome to Fibre-Isle International We are the makers of Fibre-Isle Fine Yarns specializing in bison and bamboo/bison blend yarns. We have developed new methods of harvesting and processing bison down, thus enabling us to produce some of the finest yarns on the market. Bison yarn is one of the warmest yarns available and rivals cashmere for softness and feel. It is hypoallergenic, very flattering to knit and wears very well. We currently produce a lace weight at 3200ypp and a fingering at 2400ypp available in natural colors. We have also perfected the blending of bison with bamboo. This makes a very nice yarn. It is smooth as silk, hypoallergenic and antibacterial, and a pleasure to knit. Available in multiple colors in 3200 or 2400ypp. Our yarn is available on skeins resdy for your retail outlet or on cones for value added producers. Please contact us with your needs.
