Around 300 people with around $15 million to spare gathered in Cammeroon on Friday for a chance to glimpse the debut of one of the rarest and largest jewels on earth ?a fancy vivid yellow diamond the size of a ping pong ball.



Weighing in at 101.28 carats, the diamond is mounted in a pave setting with more than 100 smaller diamonds: four pear-shaped, 46 round and 60 yellows. The additional diamonds weight together five carats.
