=========History of Company=========
Fairy Descent Ltd., ("FD"), was founded in 2011, as the mother company of the couture label, namely Black Swan. FD operates in 3 industries: fashion/fabrics design, publication and music.

Up to date, FD has 50 employees under its management, of which 35-40 are in the manufacturing function, and the variable rest are in the business function.

Initially, FD has developed Black Swan as its own couture design label that produces fashion-forward items for going-out, cocktail, prom, party and bridal purposes.

FD also manages 25-30 sewing machines, run by the same number of workers to cater to its own retail line, and to meet worldwide outsourced garment-manufacturing needs. So far, FD has always been able to meet the sophisticated technical requirements of international houses.

=========History of Brand Black Swan=========

Black Swan Couture Label is a Vietnam local fashion house, with its flagship boutique located at 33 Mai Hac De st., Hanoi - Offering customized fine-quality garments.

Black Swan was founded in Feb 2010 by Lucy and her passionate entrepreneurial family. They put together the very first few sketches, trained the very first employees...And born into life was Black Swan - The Unique Couture Label!

The idea of "Black Swan" originated from a book of the same title by Nassim Nicholas Taleb. Black Swan stands for the unprecedented & unpredictable factors that occur in the course of life. Who could ever have pictured the emergence of a Black Swan? But Black Swans exist, in a far-far-away Aussie land. Just like how we could never have imagined themselves as risk-taking entrepreneurs. But somehow, it happened. Unplanned for. Unasked for. It came as a surprise.

But no, it has never been that much of a surprise after all. Fashion has always been something very dear to our hearts. Since childhood, we often found ourselves staring at shops' windows and clothing racks for hours, wishing we could grow up a little bit faster, so we could try on every single piece. And that is how it all started. We are the ones who love to dream and dare to take action and pursue their dreams.
