Because We Care Pty Ltd was established in 2000 to address the worlds disastrous consumption of petroleum based plastics.

Committed to providing the earth with a solution, Because We Care Pty Ltd has created an eco-friendly alternative. Using bioplastic technology, Because We Care Pty Ltd has scientifically developed products that are made with a combination of organic plant and biodegradable components to break down into compost within weeks.

All our products, both raw materials and finished products have been awarded certifications by various professional bodies such as Organic Waste Systems (OWS) and Din Certco, and we are certified to American standard ASTM D6400, European standard EN13432-2000 and Australian standard AS4736-2006.

Using our green technology, Because We Care offers a wide variety of products ranging from your supermarket and retail shopping bags, household and industrial sized waste bin liners, gloves, flower plant pots, cutlery and meat trays just to name a few.
