Ban hin leong was founded in 1935 in Penang, Malaysia by the late mr & mrs lim peng kee. The ban hin leong name has long been associated with the metals and building materials industry. We are the largest manufacturer of hexagonal iron wire netting or more popularly known as chicken wire netting in Malaysia. We are also a prominent wholesaler of building materials for products like galvanized iron wire, various types of wire mesh (stainless steel, aluminium, galvanized iron, PVC, fiberglass) , shovels, wheelbarrows, galvanized iron sheets etc. Expanded metal manufacturing is our core business. Today, we are able to produce expanded metal comprising standard, flattened, grating, architectural and fine meshes. We are the only manufacturer in Malaysia that can manufacture expanded metal with a thickness up to 8. 0mm and besides that, we can also produce a very wide range of mesh sizes ranging from a micro-sized mesh of swd 0. 5mm x 1. 0mm to a macrosize mesh of swd 80mm x 200mm.
