The Company is financially strong, zero debt and growing rapidly year on year with its innovative products.Siechem&＃39;s In-house cable design studio can design and develop any type of cable with its expertise supported by R&D team to make insulating, sheathing and jacketing compounds that any competitor can offer. The company&＃39;s current production capacity is about 1.5 million a day of assorted sizes of wires & cables. Siechem has more than 10 million part numbers for 32 different segments/markets.Manufacturing FacilitySiechem has in-house manufacturing facility for wires and cables, heat shrinkable tubing&＃39;s with state-of-art machineries imported from Europe, Russia, USA and procured from indigenous sources. From Copper/Aluminium rod drawing till final stage of manufacture, the wires and cables are fully done in the Pondicherry factory, situated about 140 Kms from Chennai airport. Siechem&＃39;s present production capacity is about 12,000 metric tons of Copper/ Aluminium Wires and Cables per annum. The same is under expansion to reach 24,000 metric tons or in other words about 2 million of cables per day. Siechem&＃39;s strength is that it has its own cable studio to develop any type of design to 2D or 3D, in-house R&D, Electron Beaming, Electro Tinning, compound manufacturing and complete cable manufacturing from wire drawing, bunching/stranding, insulation, laying up, sheathing, tapping, braiding/armoring, jacketing, printing facilities etc, without depending on any external sources, to ensure the quality of its products supplied.Research & DevelopmentSiechem&＃39;s in-house R&D is recognized by Govt. of India, Ministry of Science & Technology. This is one of the prestigious approval&＃39;s the company has received. Siechem&＃39;s R&D team manned by well experienced and young technocrats is engaged in development of more than 10 million part nos. of wires and cables, covering 32 different segments, registered many Patents and published technical papers. It is continuously working on finding alternate materials which are environmentally friendly and improving process optimization.
