Company: B&C Biopharm (www.bncbio.com) is an affiliated company of Medici-K and a biopharmaceutical company to research and develop health functional food (dietary supplement) and medicines for liver health. And Medici-K is in charges of distribution of the newly-made functional food and medicines.2. Dr. J is health functional food for liver health, which made by Platycodon root extract. Since 1999, we have studied and developed technology, applying bio-transformation in functional Ginsenosides of Platycodon root extract. Due to its remarkable efficacy in the recovery of liver disease, the Korean Food & Drug Administration (KFDA) approved Dr. J as certified health functional food for liver health in the end of 2013. This approval from the KFDA gives us the exclusive right to produce bio-transformed functional Ginsenosides of Platycodon root extract. 2. Excellent efficacy: Even though Milk Thistle (Silybum Marianum), genus hovenia, and UDCA have been widely used for liver health, clinical studies from various institutions indicated that Dr. J is much more effective for liver health than any other products and medicines, tested in Korea. Through clinical studies, Dr. J was proved to improve liver damage from not only alcoholic but also non-alcoholic liver disease. Moreover, active components of Dr. J were identified to have inhibitory activity on HCV replication enzyme (RNA polymerase, NS5B). Through clinical studies, we also notified the inhibitory activity of Dr. J with HCV infected cell line.
