Production of Sunflower Oil and MealKey direction of group’s business — production of sunflower oil and meal. The company is among TOP-3 Ukrainian sunflower seeds processors: in year 2013 group processed 1,051 million tons of sunflower seeds. Plants of company produce unrefined and refined vegetable oil bottled under the brand mark "Sonola", "Kum", "Masloviya" for retail sales and exports to CIS countries, Germany, Great Britain, UAE, Israel and Panama, and also unrefined — in bulk for export for further processing. Main markets for sale of crude sunflower oil of group are countries of North Africa, European Union, India and China. Group exports sunflower meal to Western Europe and Scandinavia. The Group uses produced unrefined oil both for sale and for its more deep processing by enterprises of the company (for production of fats, margarines, refined oil). A large portion of the produced meal is used in livestock business of the companySunflower oil and meal production facilities of Group are represented by three plants: 1. Oil extraction plant – OEP 240The first plant of the Group, built in 1996 on the territory of 4,7 ha in Kirovograd region is a full-cycle production of crude oil, sunflower meal, refined oil in bottles for end-consumers. The total production capacity of the plant — 91 thousand tons of oil per year.2. Oil extraction plant – OEP 800The plant, which started operation in year 2009, fully meets the needs of the Group in sunflower oil for production of fats and margarines, and has additional capacity to produce oil in bottles. The plant produces unrefined sunflower oil, sunflower meal, and also has facilities for refining of rape seeds and soybeans. Enterprise is located on the territory of 6,5 hectares. Total capacity of the plant for sunflower seeds processing — 365 thousand tons per year.
