Our company pioneering bulgur industry in Turkey with its modern machinery for the first time, has brought together the following four major factors with the aim to offer the best quality bulgur:
1- Hard Wheat: KARAMAN, being the central region, where the hard durum wheat, one of the most important factor affecting the formation of bulgur, is grown has been seleced as the place of establishment.
2- Cooking and Drying: More durable and hygienic Bulgur is produced by cooking in the high pressure boilers and drying off by closed sysyem drying towers without corrupting the natural structure of wheat.

4- Shape and Packing: Bulgur production was rescued from primitive and unsanitary environments, the production is executed in desired shapes and properties, free from foreign materials, in the desired quantities, and according to your taste.

Difference of BUMAS Bulgur:

- Bumas Bulgur is free of stones.
- Bumas Bulgur does not contain colorants: it is in natural color.
- Bumas Bulgur, is produced in accordance with TS 2284 Bulgur Standarts and Turkish Food Codex Regulation; and has TSE and ISO Certificates.
-For pregnant women and children: bumas Bulgur is an important food item because it contains folic acid.
- Bumas Bulgur is a healty food item because of its unsaturated fat content is low.
- Bumas Bulgur does not contain cholesterol.
- Grain products are the biggest disadvantage of phytic acid(that are difficult digestic foods); this is not contained in Bumas Bulgur because of its steam cooking and drying process.
- Bumas Bulgur accelerates the absorption of nutrients, prevents constipation and prevents bowel canser because of its high mineral and cellulose contents.
-Compared to pulses, it is becoming the world's most important food source.
It does not absorb radiation and is resistant to radiation. Therefore some countries, held in stock against nuclear war with military and civilian purposes.
- Since water-soluble minerals and B complex vitamins are transmitted to the inner parts of grains during the cooking process, the stability and benefits increase. Therefore, the nutritional value is higher than other products (bread, pasta).
- Due to cooking and dryindg processes, it is resistant the formation of mold and shelf lie is longer than other products.
Note: Bumas Bulgur cooking techniques are very different. Bulgur is cooked with steam. The reason for this is keeping the nutritional value of our product during cooking.
