Bel trade was established in 1974 by mr. Stephen c. M. Sy. Bel trade has grown steadily over the years. It has weathered the down turn in property prices in Hong kong after the 1997 handover of sovereignty, the recent Asian financial crisis and the slow down in commodity market.The group is a testimonial to the entrepreneurial character and dedication of the people who work here and have made it their group - a business group filled with a &＃39;can do&＃39; spirit supported by a customer service oriented team of professional managers. Over the course of 27 years, the group has grown to be a well-known business name, locally as well as abroad. Sales turnover for the year 2002 should exceed us$100 million.Bel trade comprises of more than thirty companies in Hong kong, China and overseas. Wood product - flooring, door, railing, etc.The group has two wood product manufacturing facilities in China: One in panyu in Guangdong province and the other in youxi in Fujian province. These factories produce: Solid wood flooring strips, doors, finger joint products, and other customized wood products. The group actively promotes sustainable logging policies and the use of easily replenished bamboo, pine and fir, which are indigenous to China.Apart from being sold locally, the wood products are now being increasingly exported to Japan, Korea and the us. Many apartment complexes, indoor sports facilities and schools in the region use our flooring. In a short span of time our wood division has become well known internationally as a reliable supplier of quality products.
