Martinese, in order to produce a cork stopper which is free from anomalous odours and tastes which are releasable to wine, applies an attentive and rigorous selection of the raw cork from the harvest stage followed by a sophisticated sensorial and chemical analysis, particularly relating to 2, 4, 6-triclorohanisole using GC-MS (gascromatography-mass spectrometry) .
