Founded in 1974, Hebei Metals and Minerals Import and Export Corporation is the largest one specializing in the import and export of metals and minerals within the province. With an annual export volume of 62 million U. S. Dollars on machinery and electronic products, we have also been the largest exporter of our province in this field over the years. Every year from 1999 to 2001 we were granted "Advanced Exporter of Quality and Profit" of Hebei Province. Ever since 1989, we have been ranking among the 500 leading import and export enterprises in China.
O ur main business scope: Import and export of:
Steels, metal products, ferrous and non-ferrous materials, minerals, cast iron products, forging products, construction materials, refractory materials, coal and products, and other non-metallic products. Approved by the Ministry of Foreign Economics and Trade in 1995, our business scope has been extended to: Latex and rubber products, bags, textiles, garments, cereals oils and foodstuffs, native produce and animal by-products, medicines and health products, light industrials, arts and crafts, chemicals, tools for industry and agriculture, and transportation equipment. We established our own production base and have manufacturers which can supply the qualified products with competitive price.
I n 2001 our import and export volume reached 162 million US dollars, with sales to more than 100 countries and regions all over the world. We have registered 45 trademarks in China and abroad, including 3 customs recorded,2 bar codes. "G" brand and "Golden Pagoda" brand are famous brands of our province and have earned high prestige in domestic and overseas markets.
